Verse Athletics will be attending Battle at the Border featuring some of the top teams from both Canada and the U.S. competing to be the King of the Border.

Athletes will arrive at Youngs Sportsplex in Welland, Ontario at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 18th, where the tournament will begin. 

We’ll be entering both U16 (2010–2011) and U18 (2007–2009) teams, each guaranteed three games with the potential for more based on performance. Teams will be coached by current and former U Sports players, ensuring athletes receive high-level coaching and 1 on 1 feedback.
Each roster will be limited to 14 athletes to maximize playing time, premium coaching, and player development opportunities.

After a full day of football on Saturday, April 18th, with lunch and dinner provided, athletes will make their way to the Travelodge By Wyndham Welland Hotel, at 870 Niagara St., Welland. Here, each player will have a place to stay for the night. 

Athletes will wake up and have breakfast provided to them on Sunday, April 19th. From there, they will make their way back to Youngs Sportsplex to continue the tournament. 

The Battle at the Border will include top teams from Canada and the U.S., creating a competitive environment for athletes looking to work hard, compete, and get better.
